Paducah Quilts

More photos of the quilts at the AQS show.  I'll be posting more of them over the next couple days.  As I walked the aisles, one quilt was better than the next.  The quilting on each quilt was superb.  It was such a treat to see all these great quilts under one roof, and no two are alike.  If you ever get the chance to go to this show in KY - it's worth it.  
These are in random order.

 These next three were some of the big winners.  The star is made from hexagons and pieced onto a colorful background.
 
There is an embroidery-made lace edge around the one below.
 This wholecloth was quilted by Judy Woodworth.


 These grey taupe entry was from Japan.  How did she do that tiny piecing in the circles?
